These cards are designed by Rachida Kacimi, a card reader, clairvoyant and astrologer with more than 20 years of practical experience with clients in Europe and Suriname. After the birth of her daughter Lindsay, who has a Surinamese father, her love for Suriname and the Afro-Surinamese culture arose. That is also the reason why these cards have a Surinamese touch.
Many people experience a fascination with the gypsy cards because of their ability to predict the future. No people in the world let its intuitive power speak as strongly as gypsies. They have always led a nomadic existence and with the help of a horse and cart they traveled around Europe. Gypsies made a living as magicians, basket makers, musicians, and as horse traders. It was above all the gift of predicting the future and making their extreme known.
The origin of the gypsies would originally be in India, but they themselves claim that they come from Egypt, hence the English word gipsy. The Gypsies migrated from Egypt around the year 1000 and overran Western Europe, where they gained fame for their predictions for the future.
